1. Service Description

BadTimesAI is an AI video generation tool. You upload a photo and select a template, model tier, duration and resolution. The service processes your photo through an AI model to produce a short video clip.

Video generation is not yet publicly available. This website presents planned product information so visitors can explore what we are building. No public launch date has been announced. New purchases are not currently accepted.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must not impersonate another person, provide false identity information, or use another person's account without authorization.
• A One-Time Generation pass does not require an account. It is bound to a secure HttpOnly cookie in the purchasing browser and verified through a valid payment order and anonymous session.
• We may apply reasonable restrictions to accounts — such as limiting features, suspending access or cancelling pending tasks — where necessary to comply with these terms, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.

3. User Content and Permissions

You may only submit material — including photos and likenesses — for which you hold the necessary rights or have explicit permission. You may only upload a photo of yourself or of a person who has given you clear consent to use their image in this way.

You must not use the service to create deceptive impersonations, fraudulent deepfakes, non-consensual intimate or sexual imagery, or any content that violates applicable law.

You retain ownership of the material you submit. You grant us a limited license to process, store and transmit it solely as needed to provide the service you request. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems.

4. AI Video Generation

AI output may be inaccurate or imperfect. Results can contain visual artifacts, inconsistencies in appearance or motion, or generation can fail entirely. We do not guarantee that any generation will meet your expectations or any particular quality standard.

You must review each generated video carefully before sharing or publishing it. You are responsible for the lawful use of generated content.

5. One-Time Generation Pass

A One-Time Generation pass is a browser-bound entitlement that allows a single video generation at the specific model tier, duration and resolution shown at purchase. No account is required.

Each pass corresponds to a fixed video specification. You cannot upgrade a purchased pass to a higher-priced specification after purchase.

The pass is tied to a secure HttpOnly cookie in the purchasing browser. If the cookie is deleted, blocked or unavailable, automatic self-service recovery is not possible. The order number alone is not an access credential.

When AI generation fails, times out, or cannot persist a result, the system restores the pass entitlement for reuse within its original validity period. Restoration of a pass is not a payment refund.

6. Credit Packs

Credits are purchased as one-time prepaid digital service credits. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal, and credits do not expire under the current policy.

Credits are not cash. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money.

Generation costs depend on the model tier, duration and resolution you choose. The current credit costs are displayed on the Pricing page and in the generator before you confirm a task.

Credits for a video are held when the task starts and are consumed only if the video is generated successfully. If generation fails or times out, the held credits are returned to your balance automatically. This automatic credit return is separate from payment refunds.

7. Payment and Refunds

Payments are processed by Waffo, a third-party payment provider. We use a hosted checkout and do not receive or store your full card number or CVV; we store only order metadata needed for receipts, support and refunds.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights or statutory refund rights. Details are set out in the Refund Policy.

8. Service Interruptions and Third-Party Dependencies

The service depends on third-party providers including the database service (Neon), payment processing (Waffo), and — once enabled — an AI video provider and file storage provider. None of these are guaranteed to be available at all times.

We may change, interrupt or discontinue parts of the service as it evolves. Where a paid feature is discontinued, affected unused credits remain governed by the billing and refund terms above.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, except as required by applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BadTimesAI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
